Wedding Car Ribbon

Welcome to Wedding Car Ribbon

Welcome to weddingcarribbon.co.uk. When I got married recently we decided to use one of our friends' cool cars as our wedding car. This meant we had to decorate it ourselves rather than have the wedding car company do it for us.

We hadn't quite realised what a chore this might be and so come the wedding morning the ushers and I (the groom), had a small panic. Why? We actually found it relatively difficult to attach the wedding car ribbon to the car and this was made worse by our mild state of panic. If my usher turned up late to pick up the bride, I would have been in big old trouble!

For this reason I have decided to write one of my small guides using this website to give engaged couples some small advice on wedding car ribbon.

How to attach wedding car ribbon?

For some reason my pack of wedding car ribbon did not come with instructions, only the ribbon itself. So here are some steps to tying the ribbon to your car securely.

- First, make sure you unfold the ribbon and straighten it out. Perhaps do this the night before and place a heavy book on top to flatten it out. Iron at your own risk!

- On the morning of the wedding, with plenty of time to spare, attach the ribbon. Place each end over the wing mirrors with the centre point tucked under the bonnet or through the front grill. If tying the ribbon to the wing mirrors is not suitable, trap it in the front driver and passenger windows.

I hope you find this guide and the rest of this website useful.
